In addition, handouts for sessions will be available on CD-ROM, and online instead of paper, and traditional materials such as conference badges and event programs will be printed on recycled paper. The goal is to achieve a zero carbon foot print conference with Portuguese enterprises as partners.

Such a shift can also create and expand entrepreneurial, wealth-building opportunities for workers worldwide and encourage new avenues of economic advancement. Michael’s philosophy of “Awareness creates Knowledge, Knowledge creates Change” is aimed at educating the population, and to influence the political processes to create an earth friendly eco-system.

During this landmark event IGS will be showcasing international speakers, politicians, scientists, government officials and corporations from around the world to gather together in one place more knowledge than ever before. The summit will be the setting to foster globalization in international awareness and education.

IGS is going to be the first summit that will bring together the 150 largest companies in the world that produce green products, services, standards, or are working on sustainable processes.

Partners of the summit include: Object Management Group www.omg.org, Project Green America www.projectgreenamerica.com, Green Professionals www.greenprofs.com, Echo Earth Media www.echoearthmedia.com, Green Rose It www.greenroseit.com, One Greener www.OneGreener.com, Open Blue Sea Farms www.OpenBlueSeaFarms.com, Green Ware Technologies www.greenwaretechnologies.com, Sustainable Industries www.sustainableindustries.com, Chloregy www.chloregy.org, and Environmental Networking at the Portuguese local contact office.
