Questions of Biblical History: Evidence of The Flood

Why have sea shell fossils been found in the Carpathian Mountains? Why did the last Ice Age end so abruptly? Is there any scientific evidence that in the last four billion years that the Earth-World has had one or more anamolous polar-axial perterbations?

What would be the consequences of, say, a polar-axial perterbation of the Earth-World of 1/8-1/4 degree latitude towards the South Pole as we know it today? Would the Indian Ocean splash into Russia in the localized sense if such an anamolous axial perterbation occured today? What would happen to Antarctica?

Should one suppose that the "fact" of the "Flood" would be unreasonable in the absence of an answer or should we core the poles and examine environmental and climate science before jumping to conclusions about some of the most ancient reports in written history?

I suppose the modern free press would make the supposition rather than wait for the evidence. Shall I respose the question?
